Situated at the most south-westerly point of Australia, on one of the world's three great capes, Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia. Discover its maritime history and admire the vast seascape and untamed coastline.
Our fully-guided tours will take you to the top of this historic lighthouse, where you’ll learn fascinating stories about the lightkeepers, the region’s maritime heritage, and the tower’s unique craftsmanship.
From the top, you can take in spectacular views of the cape and its rugged coastline. Between May and August, you might even spot whales during their northern migration.
The Interpretive Centre, located in one of the original lighthouse keepers’ cottages. provides a detailed look into the history of the lighthouse and the lives of the families who once called this remote cape home.
Please note: Children must be a minimum age of four to join the lighthouse tour and climb the lighthouse.
